Lydia Rocheleau is a writer based in British Columbia, Canada. Predominantly a short story writer, her works range from fantasy to historical fiction. Currently she is focusing on her cli-fi novel “The Silver Planet”, which explores the consequences of climate change across generations, the morality of survival, and the theme of returning something to its original state vs. moving on and adapting.
Originally from Maine, she attended Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. After graduating and receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology with an award for Biology writing, she worked closely with seniors at a retirement community, which, along with her relationship with her grandparents, inspired her current project.
